Juan Palomar was diagnosed with a never-before-diagnosed tumor in his corpus callosum. It was irrefutable proof to Juan that his almost 50 years being exposed to scattered radiation within fluoroscopy had taken its toll.
Nola Palomar, Juan's surviving wife, has pledged to do all she can to raise awareness of the importance of adequate radiation protection within the workplace.
